Advert analysis

Is Public Service Broadcasting becoming more common and where is it coming from?

I watched sky 1 & BBC 3 this week at the peak times.
7pm to 10pm
To try and find and record the amount of public service announcement I saw,
My results were, I saw none.
I saw three of the same advert in the week but at random times on random channels.
My search results were inconclusive.

Public service adverts – I looked at a few public service adverts, and the ones that caught my attention where the ones that were done in a short film kind of style, with a shakey camera, and realistic settings and make up. I also liked the idea of variations on one advert.
I did find out that it is the NHS that funded the particular advert.

In this first practical lesson the main focus of what we where taught was the 180 degree camera rule. We initially was given the short task of writing the dialogue for two people having a conversation. After the class had all written our short discussions we voted on which conversation would most suit the simple exercise of filming two people taking, using two different cameras. We came to a decision that cozmo's idea about a debate on the latest third generation game consoles, was the most relevant. so with that we attempted to set up the camera and sound equipment, after our first try we could see minor problems with our positioning, Ms Flavll anticipated these mistakes and informed us about the 180 camera set up.

The 180 rule is to ensure that both cameras are not seen in the other cameras shot, and to make it easier for the lighting set up.
In our short film we had originally had two lights but after we applied the 180 we found we only needed one.
